The Digital Transformation Commission of the Catalan Facility Management Association was born in 2018 from a Working Group that, for three years, was reviewing Facility Manager functionalities and how technology could respond. Currently, this commission addresses more technological topics related to the FM, such as: big data, virtual reality, IoT, digital twin and smart buildings.
We make available to the reader the article published in the magazine Facility Management & Services and corresponding to the issue from the last quarter of last year on the work carried out by the Commission regarding IoT solutions applied to services.
